Lyon

The second largest city of France is situated at the confluence of two major rivers, the Rhône and the Sarône. Lyon has always been the turning point between the north and the south. It is the headquarters of flourishing textile and pharmaceutical industries and is also the land of good food. Stadium: Gerland Stadium

Gerland, inspired by Roman models, was designed by the architect Tony Garnier and has been listed as a historical monument. It is easy to reach from the city center and holds up to 44,000 spectators.
