6 is Russian for Native Speakers
Program

For this coming academic year
('01/'02) Russian 1 and 2 have been combined into one class,
as have Russian
3 and 4. Russian for Native Speakers has been temporarily dropped
from out
course offering.
However,
I have found a solution to our exchange program,
which tended to be one sided, i.e., the Russian students from
Moscow would
take full advantage of our school and hospitability, whereas
our students
were shortchanged on same in Moscow. I found an excellent academic
program
with homestays in St. Petersburg that rendered great service
to my students
and me. It was the most worthwhile outing that we've had since
exchanges
came into existence. My students really learned Russian and
became aware of
Russian culture.
