Level 2: grades 10-12; Level 3: Grades 11-12; Level 4: grade 12. I teach all four levels in one
class in one semester. 2nd yr. repeats
first yr. material w/grading adjustment.
3rd/4th year amounts to a facilitated
independent study, including translating
articles from R to E from online sources. I
supplement the book with my own materials
for every lesson -- this is a necessity!
They do one big culture project per yr.
(e.g., geography, leaders, writers, etc.)
We have a great time. I've taken four trips
to Russia ('92, '94, '96, and ''98). I am taking a 9-day trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg this June 2006 with 18 students and parents

While the textbooks are easier than some of the college-level, it's piecemeal with the grammar. Good cultural material, though! Not enough ancilliaries. I make most of my worksheets myself.
