The Community of Scholars, is a non-residential summer program offered by American University's School of International Service. This three-week program will introduce you to the advancing field of global affairs through college-level coursework.

The core of our program is our classes-intensive, interactive, and engaging seminars that introduce cutting edge ideas to you at the college level. You will have the opportunity to grapple with ideas, debate with classmates, and present your recommendations to the class. You will showcase your ability to complete college-level academic work. Speakers, site visits, and simulations will build on your class work, giving you the chance to see ideas in action.
