Results of the
Staff Council Holiday Charity Drive
Staff Council would
like to thank the AU community for the generous donations during its 2009
Holiday Charity Drive. We were
able to collect a total of $2,105.63. This was up from 2,046.35 in 2008. Even with the terrible economy, but
when the money is needed most for charitable organizations, the AU community
came through. Maybe next year we
can do better. If every faculty
and staff member gave at least $1 we could raise at least $2500. The
following charitable organizations are thankful of your kindness: DC Central
Kitchen, Covenant House DC, Food and Friends
