“Be in DC” in Spring 2009
Washington Semester
Luxury or Necessity?

Over the past few months, most of us have found the need to reassess our financial picture, and we have come to the realization that we must cut costs someplace and the luxuries tend to be the first to go. I am sure you and your family are no different. However, based on yesterday’s election, being in DC next spring is definitely not a luxury, but a necessity!

Last night, we (as a nation) joined together and made world history. Regardless of party affiliation, you could not help but feel the contagious energy that permeated throughout America and the world. For the next several months, the eyes of the world will be focused on DC as we continue to make world history. The question you must ask yourself (and your parents) is:

"Can I really afford not to be in DC during this historic time as we inaugurate this new president and welcome a new administration?"
